The Galapagos Islands is a place in which the weather is fantastic all year round, it is considered to have an equatorial weather for which the Galapagos is a great place to visit regardless the time of the year. But still, the Galapagos Islands have two main seasons:
Warm/Wet Season:
- From December to June
- It is influenced by warm Panama’s currents which comes from North
- Temperature range:
72ᵒ-90ᵒ F
22ᵒ-32ᵒ C - Rain is common. It varies from the averages of 0,5 to 1,5 inches
- Be prepare for partly cloudy and partly sunny days
- Sea temperature average :
70ᵒ F
21ᵒ C
Warmest and calmer during this time of the year with a more variety of marine animals.
Dry Season:
- From June to November
- It is influenced by the cold Humboldt which comes from the Antarctic
- Temperature range:
60ᵒ-75ᵒ F
15ᵒ-24ᵒ C - Rain varies from the averages of 0,25 to 0,5 inches.
- Cloudy days are not as common as in the wet season.
- Sea temperature average:
60ᵒ-72ᵒF
15ᵒ-22ᵒ C
