We had such an amazing trip, and a lot of it was in part to the tour company EQ Touring. Everything was set up for us, and we really got to enjoy our time in the Galapagos Islands and in the city of Quito. We booked our travels through the Galapagos Islands on board a 16 person yacht. The Galapagos boat was great, a little older then we would have expected, but it was clean. The staff and our guide were just wonderful. The food was also surprisingly very good as well. After our four night boat cruise, experiencing a wide variety of different islands in the Galapagos, we flew back to Ecuador. We arrived in the city of Quito and continued on our second leg of the trip with 3 days of touring the city and country side. Our guide (Andrew) was amazing. He was very knowledgable and patient with us. Having a large group of 10, with everyone wanting to do something different I’m sure took a toll on him. But he was able to accommodate everyone nicely, and we were able to see quite a lot.
Overall it was a very enjoyable trip. All of our transpiration to and from the airport, and from our hotels were looked after. If it’s just two people traveling it makes sense to take cabs or join other groups. But this was perfect for our group of 10. We were transported in a very nice bus/van. With room enough for all, and with large windows, which made for great viewing possibilities while driving. Thanks Andrew!!! and EQ touring for a trip of a lifetime!!!
