In this adventurous tour, we combine different activities in which you can challenge yourself while we visit this warm country so rich in culture and biodiversity, We go hiking and biking; rafting and horseback riding and we enjoy the beautiful countryside and its people.

Arrive in Quito. Meet and greet with your bilingual guide and tour escort; then transfer to the modern hotel Dann Carlton. Two nights (double occupancy rooms), including breakfast, hotel tax and service charge.

Quito City Tour and the Equator

This comprehensive city tour includes visits to residential neighborhoods at the northern end of the city, continuing through the Gran Colombia Avenue up to the Basilica Church, where we will make a brief stop, next to the “San Juan Mirador” for a beautiful view of Colonial Quito. While walking through the colonial streets we will stop at the Independence Plaza with a chance to admire the Cathedral, the Government’s Palace, and the Archbishop's palace. We then visit the stunning La Compañia Church with its adornments and gold altars. Finally we drive on to the “Panecillo Mirador” for a breathtaking view of Quito.

This will be a private tour with an English speaking guide in a private car. After a short ride North of Quito, we find the Equatorial Monument standing tall as a tribute to the French scientists who made history by determining the shape of the earth. Here you can visit the Ethnographic Museum, where the ethnic groups of Ecuador display their colorful way of life, and/or visit the Onsite museum "Intiñan”.

Lunch will be served in a traditional restaurant on the equator.

QUITO – GALAPAGOS (Santa Cruz Island - Hiking)

You will be picked up at 07:00 am. at the lobby of the hotel for your transfer to the airport in time for your flight to the Galapagos Islands. Your flight is with AREOGAL airlines No. 032 departing at 08:30 am and arriving to Baltra at 10:45 am local time.

Your escort / guide will take you to Puerto Ayora where you will have lunch and then you will check inn in your hotel MINAO. Two nights in double rooms. In the afternoon you will be visiting the highlands of Santa Cruz Island. Here you will be able to see the tortoises in their natural habitat.

After our box lunch you will go back to Puerto Ayora and your hotel. In the afternoon you will visit the Charles Darwin Research Station where you will see what the Station is doing in order to preserve and protect certain endemic species of the Galapagos Islands.

QUITO – GALAPAGOS (Santa Cruz Island - Kayaking)

Today is filled of adventure and emotion; we go to Academy bay for a 4 hour kayaking tour going through Franklin Bay, Perros Bay, Loberia, Love Tunnels until you get to Punta Estrada.

You end in this place where you can do snorkelling and see white tip sharks, Galapagos sharks, manta rays, and colourful tropical fish or just relax at the beach.

SANTA CRUZ - ISABELA (mountain biking)

Today you will go to the highlands of the island to start your activity of the day. You will also see some of the most graceful, indigenous, and interesting birds in the Galapagos, such as finches, frigates, flycatchers, ducks, and egrets; you will also explore the incredible lava caves, with some of the longest tunnels in the world. If it is a clear day, you will be able to see Media Luna, a crater at the top of Santa Cruz Island.

Next, you will drive to Cerro Mesa, where mountain bikes are waiting for you. This 20 kilometer part dirt, part paved path cuts through the highland farms, down to Bella vista village, and finishes at Puerto Ayora or at the Garrapatera for beach time. You will have to be ready at the pier of Puerto Ayora by 01:30 pm, to get your fast boat to Isabela Island. This is a 2 hours ride and if you are lucky you will be able to see dolphins swimming right next to your boat.

Arrive to Isabela, and you will get your ride to your front beach hotel Casa de Marita. The rest of the afternoon is al leisure to relax in the hotel. Three nights,(double occupancy rooms) breakfast and local taxes included.

ISABELA ISLAND (horseback riding and hiking)

Today is filled with exploring Isabela Island via horseback and hiking. The day begins with a ride in a pickup truck up to the highlands of Isabela where the horses will be waiting for you, then you will ride about 9 km on rugged terrain up to the edge of Sierra Negra Volcano. Measuring 6 miles by 5 miles, the Sierra Negra caldera is the second largest caldera on earth.

You will now enjoy of a box lunch and then from this point, you and your group will hike to Chico Volcano, the volcano that is responsible for some of the Galapagos’ remarkable formations and the sightseeing in this area makes you think how the moon would be, such a unique and great volcanic formation. Your group will return to Puerto Villamil in the late afternoon.

ISABELA ISLAND (biking)

Today you will be touring Isabela Island via mountain biking, you will explore the island and will go to Muro de los Lamentos which is a wall built in the second world war, the wet lands, the lagoon of flamingos. Your group will return to Puerto Villamil for lunch time. The rest of the afternoon is to relax in the beach or just explore at your own this island which is our favourite one.

ISABELA -SANTA CRUZ

Today you take your fast boat to Puerto Ayora. You will arrive to Puerto Ayora at 10:00 am approximately and will be taken to your hotel. Today you can hike to Tortuga Bay which is a very nice untouched beach in Puerto Ayora and then just spend the rest of the day exploring the town and its beautiful lifestyle.

One night MAINAO hotel (double occupancy) with breakfast and local taxes included.

SANTA CRUZ - QUITO

Today you will be picked up by our private driver at 08:30 and he will take you to the other side of the island in order to go to Baltra airport and take your flight to Quito in AEROGAL airlines flight No 033 departing at 11:45 pm. and arriving to Quito at 04:15 pm. Arrive in Quito and transfer to the modern hotel DANN CARLTON. One night (double occupancy rooms) with breakfast and local taxes included.

A farewell dinner has been organized for you in one of the most typical restaurants of the city.

FLIGHT BACK HOME

Your guide will pick you up at the lobby of the hotel in time for your international flight back home.
