The Optimal Way of Visiting the Galapagos

GetAttachment (5)The Galapagos Islands is a destination that has a lot to offer because of its unique biodiversity. It is this land that helped Charles Darwin to develop his Theory of Evolution and Natural Selection. Darwin, watching the differences of the same species in each island got impacted by the perfect adaption each animal had to their environment. This way he began his research and conclude with the theory that now we are all aware of.

Later on, to protect the islands, in 1959 Ecuador declared the Galapagos a National Park . In that same year, the Charles Darwin foundation was established by the UNESCO. Its purpose is  to provide knowledge and support with scientific research and complementary actions to ensure the conservation of the environment and biodiversity of the Galapagos Archipelago.

It doesn’t finish there. In 1979 the Galapagos were declare World Heritage by the UNESCO and ten years later was declare Biosphere Reserve.

These are clear examples of how along time people and organizations have show the unique, wonderful and diverse the Galapagos is. Because each island have different wonders, different species, and different places or landscapes the best way to get to know this islands and to enjoy gal5them in its totality is by taking some of the Galapagos Cruises available. This way you would see most, if not all, of what the Galapagos have to offer while enjoying the luxury and comfortability of a cruise.
